	Outdoor Industry Association Outdoor Industry Association® (OIA) is a national trade association whose mission is to ensure the growth and success of the outdoor industry. OIA provides trade services for over 4000 manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, sales representatives and retailers in the outdoor industry. OIA programs include representation in government/legislative affairs, market and social research; business-to-business services and youth outreach initiatives. Educational events include the annual Rendezvous, Outdoor University, and the Capitol Summit. Outdoor Industry Association is based in Boulder, Colorado, and is the title sponsor of the Outdoor Retailer tradeshows.
	Renewable Choice Energy Renewable Choice has helped hundreds of businesses and thousands of individuals across the country reduce their environmental impact and support clean energy development. It offers simple and effective solutions for purchasing renewable energy credits; carbon offsetting and clean technology products to help solve today's pressing energy and environmental challenges.
	Carbonfund.org Carbonfund.org is a beneficiary in the La Sportiva Giving Greenbacks program. Their goal is to help drive the price of clean technology like wind energy to below that of dirty technology like coal. When that happens, utilities and the market will begin building wind turbines simply because that is the most cost-effective way to provide energy. Besides reducing the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, carbon offsets drive down the cost of clean energy, hastening the transformation to a low carbon future. Carbonfund.org supports three types of carbon offset projects: renewable energy, energy efficiency and reforestation. Each type plays an important role in the fight against climate change. The projects Carbonfund.org supports meet the same high standards that thousands of companies, organizations, and governments rely on to ensure quality environmental protection. We know some people prefer renewable energy, while others prefer reforestation or efficiency.
	Conservation Alliance The Conservation Alliance is a beneficiary in the La Sportiva Giving Greenbacks program. The Conservation Alliance works to protect threatened wild places for their habitat and recreation values. We collect annual dues from outdoor industry companies and give 100 percent of those funds to the most effective conservation organizations in North America. Through our funding program, we have contributed more than $7 million to efforts to save our last wild mountains, deserts, forests, rivers, climbing areas and coastlines. We also educate our members and outdoor enthusiasts about the projects we fund, and encourage them to take action to protect these spectacular wild places.
	Global Water The Global Water is a beneficiary in the La Sportiva Giving Greenbacks program. Their philosophy is based upon the concept that the lack of safe drinking water and lack of access to sanitation facilities are root causes of disease, hunger and poverty throughout the developing world today. Global Water is a volunteer-based international, non-profit humanitarian organization focused on providing safe water supplies, sanitation and hygiene facilities for rural villagers in developing countries.
CLIMBING
	Access Fund The Access Fund is the national advocacy organization that keeps U.S. climbing areas open and conserves the climbing environment. Five core programs support the mission on national and local levels including climbing management policy, local support and mobilization, stewardship and conservation, land acquisition and protection, and education.
	American Alpine Club The American Alpine Club (AAC) unites climbers to advance the climbing way of life. The AAC protects the places we climb, advocate for American climbers around the world, preserve climbing's history and chronicle climbing achievement. Generations of climbers have benefited from the work of the AAC. Discover the AAC for yourself at one of their events, like the annual Craggin’ Classic.
	HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation Ovarian cancer is a very serious but widely under-recognized threat to women's health. To help solve this problem, the HERA Women's Cancer Foundation employs creative, authentic approaches. Also, unique fundraising events, such as HERA Climb4Life, help fund the HERA OSB1 scientific grant program, which funds research leading to reliable early detection methods, more effective treatment and the prevention of the disease. HERA awards community ovarian-cancer groups with grants that support awareness and outreach programs for women battling this disease in the communities where they live. La Sportiva is proud to be a partner with HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation.
	Boulder Rock Club/Colorado Mountain School The Boulder Rock Club is the nation’s most progressive climbing gym. We were one of the first climbing gyms in the country, opening our doors in November 1991. We are proud to be an integral part of the local climbing community and Boulder, the epicenter of American climbing. The Colorado Mountain School is the largest guide service in Colorado and has more AMGA and International Federation of Mountain Guides Association certified guides than any other guide service in the state. We remain the exclusive climbing concessionaire for Rocky Mountain National Park and have developed the most complete outdoor climbing curriculum in the United States.
	Jonny Copp and Micah Dash Inspire Award Sponsored by Black Diamond Equipment, La Sportiva, Mountain Hardwear and Patagonia, the Copp-Dash Inspire Award will help support small teams tackling difficult climbs in the great mountains of the world who plan to personally document and share their ascents through a multimedia blend of storytelling elements. Proposed trips or climbs should be focused on unclimbed objectives in distant ranges and regions, requiring a high level of skill and commitment and climbed in a fast, light and clean style that stays true to the progression of expedition climbing. Proposed documentation styles can include any mix of photos, video or writing that will vividly capture the essence and adventure of the trip or climb. Proposed sharing of these storytelling elements could aspire to involve slideshows, viral film clips, magazine articles, multimedia presentations, etc. The Copp-Dash Inspire Award is supported with in-kind support from Adventure Film Festival, Alpinist Magazine, American Alpine Club, Sender Films, and the Jonny Copp Foundation. Application deadline is January 15th, 2011 with winners announced by March 1, 2011.
	Mountain Athlete Mountain Athlete trains mountain, tactical, military and industrial athletes using a no-nonsense, intense training regime at our gym in Jackson, Wyoming. 	USA Climbing USA Climbing is the National Governing Body for Competition Climbing in the United States and is recognized by the International Federation of Sport Climbing and the International Olympic Committee. Competition Climbing is a multi-discipline international sport where athletes use their skill and athleticism to climb a competition wall designed with progressively more difficult routes. Competition Climbing has three disciplines, bouldering, sport climbing and speed climbing. USA Climbing conducts and sanctions over 200 climbing competitions across the nation providing the opportunity for climbers of all ages and abilities to compete.

	Appalachian Trail Conservancy The Appalachian Trail Conservancy is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to the preservation and management of the natural, scenic, historic, and cultural resources associated with the Appalachian National Scenic Trail in order to provide primitive outdoor-recreation and educational opportunities for Trail visitors.
	Big City Mountaineers BCM is one of the largest non-profits in the country devoted to working exclusively with under-resourced teens by using the outdoors as a transformational element in their lives. BCM runs its recreational mentoring program in selected major urban centers throughout the country, with its largest program areas in Denver and San Francisco.
RUNNING
	American Trail Running Association The American Trail Running Association, ATRA, was formed in mid-1996 as a Colorado not for profit corporation to serve the trail and mountain running community. Our mission is to represent and promote trail and mountain running.
	The Boonies Trail Running La Sportiva Supports the Rock/Creek trail running team. As a leader in the outdoor industry and local community, Rock/Creek uses outdoor retail as a platform to encourage recreation and environmental stewardship and to improve access to green spaces. Rock/Creek hosts the annual Stump Jump 50K Trail Race, attracting top competitors from across the nation. Through such venues, Rock/Creek gives the bulk of funding and sponsorship to local and national charitable organizations such as Cumberland Trail Conference, Trust for Public Land Chattanooga, and Lula Lake Land Trust. Benefiting from the Rock/Creek Trail Series, The Wilderness Trail Running Association (aka: The Boonies) is a non-profit organization dedicated to trail building and maintenance efforts along the Cumberland and Southern Appalachian Mountains.
	Wasatch Speed Goats Scott Mason is the founder and director for the Wasatch Speed Goat Mountain Racing Team. This team is a web-based group of runners from all over the country, they are not a shoe company or a retail store, and they are just a hard-core group of ultra marathon runners who dedicate their life to the sport. They are runners from all backgrounds, married couples, race directors, back of the packers, record holders, age group winners, and a large array of people who struggle to balance their lives and training. "Once a Speed Goat always a Speed Goat!" is the team philosophy!

	La Sportiva Mountain Running® Team In 2003 La Sportiva formed the premier trail and adventure running team in North America.
